Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Keystone Montgomery Concrete Company, montgomeryconcretecompany.com, support@montgomeryconcretecompany.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Keystone Montgomery Concrete Company website, starting at our home page, and any concrete work you hire us to do. By using the site, asking us for an estimate or accepting one, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

When we sign a written estimate or contract with you for a specific job, that document controls wherever it differs from these terms.

The services we offer

Keystone Montgomery Concrete Company is a concrete contractor in Montgomery, AL. We build driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, pool decks, garage floors, slabs, footings, foundations and retaining walls. We also do stamped and decorative concrete, concrete cutting and foundation raising in Montgomery and the cities around it. You can read more about who we are on our About page.

What this site says about concrete work is general information, not advice for your particular house. The work we'll do on your job is the work written in your estimate or contract.

Estimates and pricing

We give free quotes on site, because we can't price a job fairly until we've seen the ground, the access and where the water runs. An estimate holds for the period written on it. After that, material and labor costs can change, and we may need to update the price.

The price covers the work and materials described in the estimate. Some conditions only show up once the old slab is out or the ground is open, such as soft or wet subgrade, which is the soil the new slab sits on, buried debris, large roots or old concrete thicker than expected. If we run into something like that, we'll stop, show you, and get your written approval before doing any extra work at extra cost.

Your estimate or contract will say who is responsible for any permit your job needs.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

We schedule pours around the weather, because rain, a hard freeze or extreme heat can leave fresh concrete with a weak, dusty surface. If conditions aren't right on your scheduled day, we'll move the pour to the next workable day, and that delay isn't a breach of our agreement.

You agree to give our crew clear access to the work area and to tell us about anything buried there, such as sprinkler lines, invisible pet fences or landscape lighting. Please keep people, pets and vehicles off new concrete while it cures, which is the waiting period while it gains strength. We'll tell you when it's safe to walk on it and when it's safe to drive on it.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, call us at (334) 215-4466 as soon as you can. If you cancel after we've ordered materials, set forms or started work, you agree to pay for the materials and labor already spent, as your contract describes.

Payment

Your estimate or contract sets the payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is complete.

If a payment is late, we may pause any unfinished work, charge any late fee your contract allows and use the remedies available to contractors under Alabama law.

Warranty and what concrete normally does

Any warranty on our work is the one written in your contract, and it covers only what it says. If you're unhappy with our workmanship, call us and we'll come out and look at it with you.

Concrete can crack even when it's placed correctly. We cut control joints, which are grooves that give the slab a planned place to crack, so that most cracks fall along lines we chose. Hairline cracks, slight color differences between pours and minor surface wear are normal for concrete and aren't defects.

We aren't responsible for damage caused by things outside our control. These include soil movement, tree roots, drainage we didn't build, deicing salts, loads heavier than the slab was built for, and use before the concrete has cured.

Except for any written warranty in your contract, our website and services are provided as is. To the extent Alabama law allows, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Keystone Montgomery Concrete Company isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, such as the lost use of a driveway or lost income. Our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

We aren't liable for decisions you make based only on the general information on this website. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that Alabama law doesn't allow us to limit.

Resolving a disagreement

If something about your job isn't right, contact us first by calling (334) 215-4466 or using our Contact page. Most problems get settled faster when we look at them together on site.

If we can't settle it within 30 days of your written notice, either of us may take the dispute to a state court in Montgomery County, Alabama.

Governing law

These terms, your use of this website and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time by posting a new version on this page. The version in effect when you sign your contract applies to that job.

If you have a question about these terms, reach us through our Contact page or call (334) 215-4466.
